Ms. Wheeler and Mr. Olynyk’s second graders have jumped into the new year with creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm! 🎒🌟

Winter Worlds & Meaningful Legacies Students recently imagined what it would be like to live inside a snow globe, bringing their winter worlds to life through imaginative writing. ❄️🔮 They also explored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by creating thoughtful flip books and writing heartfelt postcards to thank him for helping make the world a kinder and fairer place. 🕊️📝

National Pie Day Celebrations In celebration of National Pie Day on January 23rd, students became informative writers, explaining step-by-step how to make a delicious pie. 🥧🍎 Their writing was as detailed as it was delightful!
