Pre-K News: Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. King 🕊️✨

Mrs. Koss’ Pre-K class has spent time this month learning about the inspiring life of Martin Luther King, Jr. 📚❤️

Lessons in Equality and Kindness Through reading together, the children learned that Dr. King believed everyone is "as good as anybody" and that everyone should be treated equally. 🤝 The students discussed his vision for the world: a place where people go places together, eat together, and love one another regardless of skin color or appearance. 🌎🌈 We also learned about the famous “I Have a Dream” speech he gave in Washington D.C. 🎤🏙️

Our "I Have a Dream" Bulletin Board To honor his message, the class got hardworking and creative! 🎨 Students colored and cut out pictures of Dr. King to create our beautiful “I Have a Dream” bulletin board. The display is framed by a border of many colored handprints, representing our unique and wonderful class community. 🖐️✨
