🌿🏞️ Outdoor Education Adventure! 🌊🐚

Our fifth grade class had an unforgettable week at NatureBridge in the Marin Headlands! The students hiked through the headlands, searched for sea glass on the beach, discovered macroinvertebrates in the pond, went on a night hike in the dark, listened to origin stories, collected data about harbor seals, and even rolled down an ice plant-covered hill. 🌊🐚

We also had the opportunity to get to know students from two other schools and share meals together in the dining hall. 🍽️ Realizing that learning can happen outside of the classroom — and taking responsibility for themselves and their belongings — were two additional benefits from this wonderful trip. 🌿✨
