Learning, Gratitude, and Fall Fun in Ms. Fenech’s Class 🍂🧡

Learning, Gratitude, and Fall Fun in Ms. Fenech’s Class 🍂🧡

The children in Ms. Fenech’s class had a special parent volunteer visit to teach them all about emotions. They read stories, practiced deep breathing, and colored their own “Emotion Monsters” to help learn the names of the feelings they experience throughout the day.

They also learned about the color red and the number 9. Students colored a red number nine, counted nine stickers to match, and even dressed up in red clothes for a fun and festive Red Day!

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the class read stories about gratitude, friends, family, and falling leaves, including Thanks for Thanksgiving, This Is the Turkey, Bear Says Thanks, and The Leaves Are Falling One by One. They talked about what it means to be thankful and took lots of pictures with falling leaves as they learned about the changing season.

To wrap up the festivities, the children enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving feast complete with homemade crowns, placemats, and plenty of chicken nuggets to celebrate together. 🧡🍂🦃
