2026-2027 ADMISSIONS INFORMATION

It starts with a spark and grows to a flame.

Starting in preschool, our carefully balanced academic program provides engaging and rich experiences in living and learning with others.  While they're growing their minds, they're also growing their bodies, with plenty of outdoor recess time on our beautiful tree-shaded playgrounds.  With a focus on the social emotional aspects of a child's development and a small teacher-to-child ratio, our developmentally and age appropriate curriculum is the ideal introduction to school and a wonderful way for each child to begin a lifelong love of learning. 

All Pre-K families have priority enrollment for Belmont Oaks Academy's Kindergarten program and do not go through the assessment process.

Children entering Merry Moppet Preschool for the first time must be 2 years old by June 1, 2026 and fully potty trained by the start of school in September. Children applying for the Pre-Kindergarten program must be 4 years old by September 1, 2026.

Step 2: Schedule a Tour and Attend an Open House

Virtual tours are available mornings below at 10:00 am. Please schedule a tour by emailing Jennifer Clarke (jclarke@mmboa.org)

Available tour dates (Wednesdays):

  • November 12
  • November 19
  • December 3
  • December 10

Zoom web conferencing details will be provided upon confirmation.

 

Step 3: Fill Out an Application

We are currently accepting applications for the 2026-27 school year.

Priority application deadline is February 6th.

Admissions decisions will be sent out February 13th.

Complete enrollment paperwork due back February 20th.

All are welcome to attend our next school-wide Open House:

  • Saturday, January 10, 10am-12pm

Please let us know we'll see you there by filling out this form - preschool only. (If you are interested in grades K-5, please register for our Open House here).

  • Monday, February 13, 2026: Admissions Decisions Released
