Second grade students in Spanish class enjoyed matching pictures of houses with written descriptions! In this hands-on activity, they worked in collaborative pairs reading the descriptions aloud and focusing on key vocabulary. Each house is labeled with the name of a Spanish-speaking country to promote geographic awareness. Students have been learning to name rooms and outside parts of the house, as well as 9 high frequency verbs! The goal is for them to be able to say where they are and what they are doing at home.

Happy Spring from the older 3s! Ms. Brandi's class is getting ready for Earth Day by learning about recycling and ways to help our planet. 🌸🌎 The class has been busy painting flowers and Mother Earth decorations in class and on shirts. They will celebrate this Friday with a fun picnic on the grass and enjoy a special popsicle treat afterwards. Also this month, the children will be watching baby caterpillars grow into beautiful butterflies. 🦋💚

🎮 Exploring the world of video game design in third grade computer class! From 3D Modeler to Concept Artist to Programmer, the students got a crash course in how their favorite games come to life. Their reflections on the lesson in a Google document were insightful and inspiring. The future of gaming looks bright! ✨
